Faith over Fear...

Tonight my heart feels heavy. I wasn't going to write tonight but I have to get it out.

If you know me I don't talk politics with people..I have a very select few that I will discuss with so this post isn't going to be much about politics..this being said.. Do I believe some of it is political..Absolutely I do, but does that change the way I treat others?

Nope! It hasn't yet!

I wanted this post to be more about what I am "seeing" in the world right now. I put that in quotes because my opinion is that what we see on social media and TV is a skewed version. That is my opinion. ;)

The energy inside myself feels so different than I have ever experienced. I find myself feeling really down some days with everything going on in the world. We are "seeing" more racism, protests, hate crimes, war/deaths, freedom of speech becoming less free, vaccinated against unvaccinated...the list goes on but Guess what? Both have their own reasons and more importantly that is OK to have! I have seen lifetime friendships become ruined, families dividing, list goes on.

Sadly, a country divided.

It breaks my heart to see so much judgment against each other. For what? Because we have a difference of opinion? Are we all supposed to believe the same thing? If so what does that world even look like? I can tell you it seems very boring to me.

When I go to work everyday and I am around people of all walks of life! It doesn't matter what you identify as, if you are black, white, red, green, old or young YOU ARE A HUMAN and for that your life matters! I treat people with respect and honestly they do the same with me! It's the GOLDEN RULE!

As a mom I try to not be fearful and someday's it's hard, but my faith hasn't failed me yet. I pray everyday not only for my kids but for all kids. I don't pray for one race I pray for all. I don't just pray for people with the same sexual orientation as me..I pray for all because we are all human.

I write this week to really encourage anyone reading this to share it and do something kind this week for someone that may differ in their opinion. It is OK to have a difference of opinion! If we take out the judgments towards things and people WOW what a difference that can make! Are you with me?

..and as always I Remember to Breathe.
